Friday Night Lights Unites Community for Second Year

November 21, 2025

The energy of Friday Night Lights returned this year, bringing together thousands of members, families, and fans for a four-game celebration of school spirit across Montrose and Delta counties. For the second consecutive year, DMEA and Elevate were proud to power this community tradition, providing free admission, giveaways, and support to help bring people together.

Fans in Delta gear up for another night of football fun powered by DMEA and connected by Elevate.

“For me, Friday Night Lights is about bringing our members together and celebrating everything that makes our schools and communities special,” said DMEA and Elevate CEO Jack Johnston. “We’re grateful to the districts, schools, volunteers, and fans who made this a memorable season.”

The partnership between DMEA, Elevate, and local school districts once again filled the stands with excitement. Athletic directors, staff, and volunteers worked together to create a welcoming atmosphere for every attendee.

“We’re incredibly grateful to DMEA and Elevate for making this possible. Their support means our athletes, families, and fans can all share in the spirit of the game—together, as one team,” said Montrose High School Athletic Director Bradd Shaffer.

More than 4,700 fans turned out to cheer on Montrose, Delta, Cedaredge at North Fork, and Olathe—showcasing the pride, connection, and unity that define our communities.

This year’s Friday Night Lights experience included complimentary admission for all attendees, along with free school-spirit rally towels, blankets, and lapel pins for students and families. Many fans also received concession vouchers, and at each game, DMEA and Elevate awarded five $100 DMEA bill credits and five $100 Elevate bill credits.

As the season concludes, DMEA and Elevate are thankful for the opportunity to show appreciation to their members and support the schools at the heart of their service area.
