Bright Minds, Bright Futures: DMEA Scholarship Recipients Announced

Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship program, recognizing outstanding students across Montrose and Delta Counties. DMEA has significantly expanded its support for local education this year, doubling its scholarship awards to invest in the region's future leaders.
Funded by unclaimed capital credits and in partnership with Guzman Energy, DMEA's scholarship program offers $5,000 awards to students pursuing higher education, continuing education, and linework trade school. The scholarships support a diverse group of students, including high school graduates, non-traditional students, and those enrolled in technical and continuing education programs.
"At DMEA, we are committed to the cooperative principles that guide us, including investing in our community’s future," said Kent Blackwell, DMEA’s Chief Administrative Officer. "By supporting the education of our youth, we’re helping individual students achieve their dreams and building the future leaders who will strengthen and sustain our region for years to come. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all scholarship recipients and their families."
