DMEA to Host Virtual Board Meetings

March 20, 2020

March 20, 2019 - Montrose, CO — In light of this week’s order from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment generally limiting all gatherings in the state to no more than 10 people, Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) will be suspending all in-person meetings of its Board of Directors.

DMEA is committed to protecting the health and safety of its members, employees, and the community, and will instead host virtual meetings of the Board until further notice.

DMEA members and members of the press may join the first virtual meeting on March 24, 2019, at 3:00 pm. If you would like to join the meeting, please contact Virginia Harman at virginia.harman@dmea.com or by calling 970-240-1262 and she will provide you with participation instructions. Please reach out to Virginia no later than noon on Tuesday, March 24 to ensure that you will be able to join.

This move to virtual meetings follows DMEA’s decision earlier in the week to suspend all residential, small commercial, and agriculture service disconnects for non-payment—effective immediately. DMEA encourages any members experiencing financial hardship to contact DMEA at 877-687-3632 to discuss payment accommodations and resources.
