Emily Sanchez

Emily joined the DMEA Board of Directors in 2023 and currently holds the Credentialed Cooperative Director certification from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. She brings more than 15 years of experience in public administration, project management, and community partnerships. A graduate of Colorado State University, she held roles as Assistant County Manager, Project Manager, and Fairgrounds & Event Center Director for Montrose County. She is currently a licensed real estate agent with Showtime Real Estate Group LLC. Emily is actively involved in local agriculture and is a strong supporter of local high school athletic programs, with a deep commitment to serving and strengthening Western Colorado communities.
