Delta-Montrose Electric Association’s (DMEA) 2023 Board of Directors Election concluded June 15, 2023, with three incumbent candidates retaining their seats for another three-year term.
Members re-elected Damon Lockhart in District 6 and Stacia Cannon in the North Region. District 7 representative, Enno Heuscher also retained his seat, running unopposed. Survey and Ballot Systems conducted the elections and ballot tabulation. The final vote is as follows:
Damon Lockhart – 2,242 votes (71.2%)
Mark G. Youngwirth – 909 (28.8%)
Enno Heuscher – 2,722 (100%)
Stacia Cannon – 2,343 (74%)
Paul Sweitzer 822 (26%)
30,447 ballots mailed to DMEA members, and a total of 3,187 member votes were cast for a return rate of 10.47%. Of these votes, 3,139 were submitted by mail and 48 were cast in person at DMEA’s Annual Meeting or deposited in DMEA’s ballot drop boxes.
