Touchstone Energy Sponsorships Print E-mail

The mission of the Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) is to “energize and serve our communities.” This is one reason DMEA is pleased to be a Touchstone Energy cooperative. Touchstone Energy is a national alliance of local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives providing high standards of service to customers large and small. More than 630 Touchstone Energy cooperatives in 45 states are delivering energy and energy solutions to approximately 22 million member-owners every day. Touchstone Energy cooperatives serve their members with integrity, accountability, innovation and a longstanding commitment to communities. For more information on Touchstone Energy, please visit their web site at https://touchstoneenergy.cooperative.com.

In working to fulfill both our mission and our obligation to the national Touchstone Energy organization, DMEA is proud to sponsor events and programs within our communities. Please note that DMEA’s Touchstone Energy event and sponsorship funding is intended to build awareness of Touchstone Energy cooperatives’ commitment to the communities they serve.  Its primary intent is not “charitable” donation to worthy causes, although many events and programs DMEA sponsors through its Touchstone Energy budget are extremely worthy.  We are looking for partners who can best help us build the Touchstone Energy brand locally.  Your application should reflect how your organization will help DMEA achieve this goal.  Your application will be evaluated against the proposals of a growing number of organizations asking DMEA for its Touchstone Energy support.  If your organization is looking for a charitable donation, you should be making an application to Operation Round Up, the trust DMEA established to evaluate requests for charitable funding.
