Delta-Montrose Electric Association has teamed up with the Montrose Daily Press to host the 2018 Holiday Lighting Contest. Open to residents in Montrose and Delta counties, the contest will award top honors to the three merriest homes on the block.
Members can submit photos of their exterior holiday lighting displays online. First place will win a $250 gift card, second place a $100 gift card, and third place a $75. In addition each winner will receive a trophy and plenty of bragging rights.
Plus, DMEA will get members started—bring in an old incandescent holiday light strand to either DMEA office starting Monday, November 26, and the co-op will swap it out for a new efficient (and safer) LED holiday light strand. Limit 4 per household, while supplies last.
