DMEA November Member Forums Focus on Efficiency
Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) will host two member forums next month that will highlight the co-op’s programs and services designed to help members reduce their energy use. The forums are scheduled for Monday, November 16, 7:00 p.m. at Orchard City Town Hall, 9661 2100 Road, Austin, CO, and Tuesday, November 17, 7:00 p.m. at Hotchkiss Memorial Hall, 175 N. 1stStreet, Hotchkiss, CO. Free dessert and refreshments will be served. All members who attend will receive a $10 bill credit.
The forums are an opportunity for members to learn about DMEA’s numerous efficiency and billing programs that can help them reduce their energy consumption and save money. DMEA staff members will discuss the programs and walk attendees through a variety of demonstrations and hands-on activities.
“I invite all members who are interested in learning about how to use energy wisely to attend. The forums will provide opportunities to learn about efficient technologies and the incentives available to take advantage of them. At the very least, you’ll walk away armed with information that can help you save money,” said DMEA Energy Services Supervisor, Phil Zimmer.
Although the forums will begin with presentations from DMEA, ample time will be allotted for questions and answers. Members of DMEA’s management team and board members will be available to help answer questions.
“These forums will focus on energy efficiency and assistance programs, but our ultimate goal is to listen to our members. They are informal gatherings where all members are welcome to ask questions on any topic,” said DMEA Manager of Member Relations and HR, Virginia Harman.
The forums are free to attend, and no RSVP is required. For more information contact Becky Mashburn, (970) 240-1263 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
