DMEA Announces 2017 Morning Buzz Lineup

JANUARY 27, 2017 – Building off last year’s success, Delta Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) is once again inviting members to its unique member outreach program, the Morning Buzz. The co-op is hosting a series of six morning coffee events scattered throughout the service territory. The idea behind the program is to meet co-op members where they are already going.

“It’s all about being accessible to our members. We want to go where they go, meet them on their turf. We realize that our members are busy and they can’t always find the time to stop in at one of our offices. With these events, we’re able to catch up with people on the go. If they only have time for a few questions while their order is being made, that’s fine,” explained DMEA CEO, Jasen Bronec.

The Morning Buzz events represent DMEA’s renewed focus on its members. The events provide a convenient way for members to ask questions and provide feedback. The co-op will hold the morning coffee meetings at local coffee shops and restaurants throughout their service territory from February through April 2017.

The public is invited to join DMEA for The Morning Buzz on the following dates:

There will be no formal topic or presentation. Members are encouraged to ask questions on the topics of their choosing. For more information and the full schedule of Morning Buzz events visit www.dmea.com or contact Becky at (970) 240-1263 or becky.mashburn@dmea.com.

“Everyone is busy and it can be hard to remember to stop and listen. That’s what these events are for. They are our time to listen to our members. We hope people can take a few minutes to ask us questions or tell us how we can better serve them while they pick up their regular morning coffee before work. Of course, longer conversations are welcome as well,” said Jasen Bronec, DMEA CEO.
